Wine Premiere is putting a cork in 13 years of business.

Owner Therese Woelfel said Friday that her Bellevue store had to get bigger to be sustainable and that's not a direction she wanted to go.

"I really feel the future of a free-standing wine shop is it's not going to make it without some kind of food service associated with it," said Woelfel, who owns the 2633 Development Drive store with her husband, Andy. "A restaurant requires your attention 24/7. That's not the lifestyle we want." ...
