The Women's Fund of Greater Green Bay, a fund of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, will host The Girlfriends Event April 24 at the Meyer Theater. This evening of music by Manditori will raise money to "empower women and inspire girls!" Volunteers are needed to create a fun night by selling raffle tickets, selling CDs, greeting guests, and helping with cleanup after the event. Contact Chiara Boss (920)241-0365 or bosscl19@uwgb.edu. The March of Dimes works to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature births and infant mortality. Volunteer opportunities are available for various clerical duties and providing printing support (mailings, invitations, etc.) The annual March of Dimes Walk will be April 27. The Green Bay Botanical Garden invites volunteers to enjoy the spring weather by assisting in the spring maintenance program, which includes planting, pruning, weeding and various other garden chores. Contact Maribeth Frinzi at (920) 491-3691, Ext. 105 or mfrinzi@gbbg.org.
