Monday's spring DNR fish and wildlife rules hearing and Conservation Congress county meeting at the Kewaunee High School lured just 35 residents for a chance to discuss potential rule changes.

Roughly 90 minutes after it began, most of the crew - about 80 percent of them in the 50 and over camp - were on their way back home.

The same couldn't be said in Door County, where there was a lot of discussion about the state parks hunting and trapping seasons and the meeting went on for more than three hours. ...
