Sunday: "Nurse Jackie" returns to find our title character (Edie Falco) suffering from post-divorce doldrums. But, hey, there's probably a pill for that. 8 p.m., Showtime.

Sunday: OK, so maybe the "2013 MTV Movie Awards" aren't nearly as prestigious as the Academy Awards. On the other hand, Oscar doesn't have a category for Best Shirtless Performance. 8 p.m., MTV.

Monday: Break out the star-spangled spandex. "Wonder Women! The Untold Story of American Superheroines" traces the evolution of Wonder Woman and other strong female characters, and examines how the depictions have reflected societal anxieties about powerful women. 9 p.m., PBS.

Tuesday: "Scrubs" vet Donald Faison hosts "Who Gets the Last Laugh?" It's a reality competition that has three comedians competing against each other to pull the best hidden-camera pranks on unsuspecting victims. 9 p.m., TBS.

Wednesday: The vast forests of Humboldt County are the setting for "Pot Cops." It's a new docu-series that follows the Drug Enforcement Unit as it deals with gunfire, booby traps and Mexican cartels. 9 p.m., Discovery.

Friday: OK, let's try not to freak out the good residents of Portland, but in the latest episode of "Grimm," a volcano threatens to bury the city in lava. 8 p.m., NBC.
