North America's leading manufacturer of fire apparatus began life quietly in a small shop that had previously been a church on Appleton's south side.

A century later, Pierce Manufacturing is a major Fox Valley employer and a company that's internationally regarded for its quality and innovations. Those close to the company say its growth and success is due in no small part to the place it calls home.
