Ministry Health continues business as usual after Ascension merger

Ministry Health Care became part of Ascension Health, the nation's largest Catholic and nonprofit health system, as of April 1, but patients and employees will not be affected by the sponsorship change, said Ministry President and Chief Executive Officer Nick Desien.

Ministry operates several central Wisconsin hospitals, including Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, Ministry Saint Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point and Ministry Saint Clare's Hospital in Weston.
