Green Bay gas station robbed, employee assaulted

Green Bay police are investigating a Monday morning armed robbery at the East Mason Express gas station.

Police say two men walked into the station at 1593 East Mason St. around 3:30 a.m., displayed a hand gun and physically assaulted an employee. An undetermined amount of cash was taken, according to police.

The employee suffered "minor" injuries.

The suspects are described as a 6-foot, 2-inch tall African American male wearing a navy blue hoodie, blue jeans and white tennis shoes and a 6-foot tall African American male wearing a dark fleece, blue jeans and tan work boots. The suspects weighed about 180 and 200 pounds, respectively.

Police ask anyone with information about the case to call the Green Bay Police Department at (920) 448-3200 or Crime Stoppers (920) 432-7867.
