Green Bay attorney Joseph Nicks will serve as the independent investigator who will look into the claims of mistreatment of a player or players by University of Wisconsin-Green Bay men's basketball coach Brian Wardle.

University chancellor Thomas Harden said today that Nicks will begin his investigation immediately.

"We debated looking within the (UW) system because the system has some really good attorneys as well, but we decided we need to go outside the system and outside the university," Harden said. "Mr. Nicks is a person who has a good reputation in town, a good investigator and has a ...
