City mum on details about 'suspicious fires'

Stevens Point officials gave few details Monday during a news conference about a string of suspicious fires that have occurred around Stevens Point.

Mayor Andrew Halverson talked about two fires that investigators with the Stevens Point police and fire departments, along with the State Fire Marshal, are calling suspicious: a house fire that destroyed a home at 1132 Soo Marie Ave., and another structure fire April 7 at 3324 Fourth Ave.
