A disturbance report on Sturgeon Bay’s east side led to the arrest of four people on heroin-related charges last week.
According to a report posted on the Sturgeon Bay police blog, officers responded to the 1600 block of Florida Street at 11:24 a.m. April 9 and found a 61-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman involved in a physical fight.
They became aware of drug activity inside the residence and were given permission to look inside the home, the report said. Heroin, marijuana, a variety of pills, and multiple items of drug paraphernalia were confiscated. They arrested the man and woman along with two other family members in the house.
The four taken into custody were Michael Ashe, 61, 1604 Florida St., Sturgeon Bay; Jemma Weiland, 65; Victoria Weiland, 24; Beau Weiland, 33, Tijeras, N.M.
Formal charges have not yet been filed, but all appeared in court for bond hearings Thursday and three were released, according to the Door County Clerk of Circuit Court.
Ashe was arrested for possession of narcotics and possession of medication without a prescription. He was released on a signature bond.
Jemma Weiland was arrested for possession of heroin and medication without a prescription and was released on a $1,000 signature bond.
Victoria Weiland was arrested for possession of heroin and marijuna and was released on a $150 cash bond.
Beau Weiland was arrested for the manufacture and delivery of heroin and possession of heroin. As of Tuesday he remained in jail and the $500 cash bond had not been posted.
All are due back in Door County court for initial appearances later this month.
