Survey: Health of Green Bay area nonprofits improv...: April 16: The Greater Green Bay Community Foundation shared the results of the Non-Profits and the Economy survey of Northeastern Wisconsin agencies on Tuesday.

Nonprofit organizations in Northeastern Wisconsin are regaining fiscal health following the recession even as demand for their services has increased, according to a survey.

A survey done by the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation found that 55 percent of area nonprofits reported being financially healthy this past year, up from 43 percent in 2010 and 27 percent in 2009.

The agencies' financial health has improved but not back to the levels of before the recession, the survey found. ...
