Police and federal agents arrested a Kimberly restaurant owner on Tuesday on charges she held a Chinese national against her will and forced her to work without pay.

Yen S. Meier, 51, was charged in Outagamie County Circuit Court with benefiting from human trafficking and conspiracy to commit human trafficking. Meier is owner of Yen's Chinese Buffet, 700 E. Maes Ave.

Each of the count carry maximum penalties of 25 years in prison and $100,000 in fines. ...
