Track and Field: Clippers, Pioneers win events in Kewaunee quad

While Door County teams fell short in the team standings, they racked up a number of event wins at a Packerland Conference high school quadrangular track meet Tuesday in Kewaunee.

The Sturgeon Bay boys earned five individual wins and one relay title, while the Clippers girls took four individual races and two relays and the Sevastopol girls team won two individual events.

Kewaunee won the boys meet with 106 points, followed by Algoma, 78; Sturgeon Bay, 73; and Sevastopol, 15. The Algoma girls placed first with 105.5 points, with Sturgeon Bay edging Kewaunee for second, 56.5 to 56, and the ...
