I had a chance to sit down and have dinner with George Houde prior to his recent presentation to a full house at the Door County Maritime Museum.

The last in the museum's Speaker Series for the year reflected on the successes and failures associated with his TV show "Great Lake Warriors" which aired last summer on the History Channel.

Centered on the challenges associated with tug boat work on the Great Lakes, the series underscores just how difficult it is to find ratings magic on a medium that's saturated with reality programming. ...
