Students can enter jingle contest for county fair

The Door County Fair Association is seeking a tune it can use to promote its 2013 Door County Fair, so it's holding a Jingle Contest for local youths from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. April 22 at Third Avenue Playhouse, 239 N. Third Ave., Sturgeon Bay.

The contest is open to all Door County area students, and contestants younger than 10 years old must be accompanied to the contest by a parent or guardian. Entries should be less than 20 seconds long.

Six judges will rate the jingles on creativity, clarity, musical talent and marketability. Jingles may be presented solo or in groups of up to five ...
