Fiber artists Wence and Sandra Martinez of Jacksonport were among 121 artists and craftsmen from across the U.S. chosen to exhibit in the 31th annual Smithsonian Craft Show, which runs from April 25-28 at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.

"I am told that even if you get in the Smithsonian Craft Show only once, for the rest of your career, it is the first thing out of your mouth," Sandra Martinez wrote in an email. "We are beyond excited, honored and dancing as fast as we can!"
