ASHWAUBENON - With a technology education teacher who incorporates community service into his curriculum, an innovative duo of technology instructors, and a music teacher who ensures his students have instruments, this year's Golden Apple winners are as diverse as they are distinguished.

Sixteen teachers were honored at the 20th Annual Golden Apple ceremony Wednesday night at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center.
