The first time Scotty Smith floated the idea of having a 7-on-7 football league at his House of Speed training facility in Ashwaubenon, it was greeted with silence.

It seems most people didn't understand the concept or just didn't care.

"We actually tried to do it once earlier, and we had to cancel it at that point in time and then rescheduled it until later," Smith said. "A lot of it is just educating people around here about what 7-on-7 even is." ...
