If it's the name that gets people out to hear them for the first time, The Cougars don't have a problem with that.

"Those are the same people who buy wine according to how the label looks,'' jokes Anna Snyder, one of three female lead singers of the Green Bay rock band.

"Cougars is such a buzz word now. You hear it all over the place. I think when people first hear our name they laugh, and we do have a lot of fun. We don't take ourselves all too serious,'' she said. "But I think when people actually hear our voices, they know we know what we're doing.'' ...
