What happened to global warming?

What did you think of our long and cold winter? Surprised? What happened to Man Caused Global Warming (MCGW)? Assuming MCGW is true, we should have progressively warmer winters. That's not happening. MCGW has a beautiful narrative; "our energy choices are warming the planet," however, it's a big planet. Too many people have a financial interest in promoting MCGW. Climategate is a good example. "Trust but verify" means also listening to vilified MCGW skeptics.

If the planet is warming, the likely cause is the sun, but few could profit from that scenario. According to legend, in 1820 Salem, N.J., 2,000 people gathered at the courthouse to witness Robert Gibbon Johnson perish by consuming tomatoes. Tomatoes were believed to be poisonous in 1820. Are we that gullible? In the 1960s, one could see and smell Fox River Valley pollution. Today, for the most part, that's gone. Does MCGW pass the smell test? Last year Al Gore sold his cable channels to oil financed Al Jazeera. A true MCGW believer wouldn't sell to big oil. It's obvious where the high advocate of green puts his money. What do I know? I am just the little kid on the sidewalk pointing out "the emperor has no clothes."
