Constructed in 1909, St. Luke's School was converted to senior housing in 2001-02, with assistance from a City TIF District and City and State loans. The new owners wish to acquire the adjacent St. Luke's convent, to be demolished to create more off-street parking for the senior housing.

Alliance Development of Oshkosh was the successful bidder in a recent auction sale of the former St. Luke's School property at 1800 Jefferson Street.

This historic property, known since 2002 as Marquette Manor, is an adaptive use of the former school as senior apartments-32 units in all.

Redeveloped by MetroPlains Development of St. Paul, Minnesota, the property was foreclosed upon by U.S. Bank, which gained title in 2010. ...
