Some of the storms could produce heavy rain and small hail. Scattered thunderstorms are expected to continue across east-central Wisconsin Thursday morning. The risk of heavy rain and small hail will also continue.

A flood watch remains in effect in Manitowoc County from this evening through Friday morning as potential rainfall may cause flooding in low-lying areas and small streams, according to the National Weather Service of Green Bay.

The water will take a little longer to reach larger streams and rivers, so the threat of flooding along rivers will likely persist into the weekend. Those living in areas prone to flooding are urged to be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
