Marshfield ranked most challenging high school in Wisconsin

Drawing praise for its focus on encouraging every student to take at least one Advanced Placement or honors class before graduating, Marshfield was named as the most challenging high school in Wisconsin last year.

The distinction comes from The Washington Post and returns Marshfield to the top spot after it dropped to second place in 2012. Overall, Marshfield was listed as the 369th most challenging high school in the nation.

Stevens Point Area Senior High also made the list for the first year, coming in at 27th for the state and 1,856th in the nation. ...
