Varsho's slam helps Marshfield baseball team roll past Tomah

TOMAH - The Tigers got a grand slam from Dalton Varshoand Bo Howard went 4 for 4 with two RBIs as the Tigers rolled to an 11-1 win over Tomah in five innings Tuesday.

Tanner Brown, who had three strikeouts and five walks, earned the win. Tomah's Ethan Eckelberg took the loss, throwing 5 strikeouts and giving up six walks.

"It was nice to get outside and our pitchers threw very well for being early in the season, Got some timely hits and hopelfully keep progressing along," said Marshfield coach Mark Zee. ...
