10 YEARS AGO: Randi Davis of Marshfield has been elected to membership in Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She is pursuing a career as a trauma nurse.

Fifteen to 20 cows died in a barn fire at the Clair Horning residence northeast of Stratford. Firefighters from Stratford, Spencer, McMillan and Edgar worked into the evening, battling the blaze.

25 YEARS AGO: David J. Svejda of Marshfield reported a porch railing at his residence was broken by an unknown person. No damage estimate was available.

50 YEARS AGO: Neillsville Saddle Tramps Inc. met to plan the fourth annual horse show to be held at the Clark County Fairgrounds. "Chuck" Struble is the show chairman.

75 YEARS AGO: The American Legion Golf Committee has inspected the course and clubhouse. Greens and fairways wintered satisfactorily and without winter kill of greens and turf.
