A benefit for a 2009 Southern Door High School graduate in need of a kidney transplant is planned for Saturday at the Draft Haus in Sturgeon Bay.

Ryan "Wagon" Steffenhagen, 22, was diagnosed with a chronic kidney disease in November 2012. Steffenhagen is on dialysis and is slated to be placed on the transplant list. Due to his illness, he has been unable to work.

Steffenhagen currently lives with his father, Danny Steffenhagen, in Green Bay.

The benefit starts at 2 p.m. at the Draft Haus, 901 Egg Harbor Road. It includes a silent auction, Chinese auction and 50/50 raffle.

For additional information contact his mother Paula Kinnard (920) 493-6914, Danny Steffenhagen (920) 471-7210, Nikki Moses (920) 495-1617 or visit the Ryan (Wagon) Steffenhagen Benefit Facebook page. An account has been set up for Steffenhagen at Baylake Bank branches.
