Cleaning up the Broadway District -- in the rain: April 18: High school volunteers turned out Thursday for the annual Broadway District cleanup in Green Bay, undeterred by rain and cold.

The Broadway District's annual spring cleanup Thursday drew about 60 volunteers despite miserable conditions.

On Broadway executive director Christoper Naumann said the volunteers included about 30 students from Green Bay Notre Dame Academy and about 20 from Green Bay East High School.

Volunteers fanned out throughout the district, picking up trash and sweeping sidewalks. Cleanup was expected to included the Larsen Green area and some neighboring residential areas. ...
