"Don't go overboard with keeping campaign promises." What? Your editorial on Sunday was an insult to those who voted for Gov. Scott Walker.

As one of the few politicians who did keep his promise to cut taxes, Walker speaks for all of us who believe In prudent government. There is no reason Wisconsin has to be among the highest-taxed states in the nation. Shamefully, Walker's predecessors spent like there was no tomorrow. Now we pay the price. If our elected officials in Washington were more concerned about keeping their campaign promises, our children would not be stuck with the already astronomical and growing federal debt.

Kudos to Scott Walker ... and shame on you for discouraging his tax cuts. You had it right when you said, "It's difficult to ever argue against tax cuts." Enough said.
