As police and fire officials investigate a number of suspicious fires in Stevens Point, residents say they are growing increasingly concerned with safety.

Residents in the neighborhoods of Fourth Avenue and Soo Marie Avenue on the city's east side say the number of fires nearby makes them nervous, and they want more details from officials.

City officials announced Monday that the police and fire departments are investigating two suspicious fires in Stevens Point. One started in a garage at 1132 Soo Marie Ave. on April 11, and the other was a garage fire at 3324 Fourth Ave. on April 7 that left ...
