Break-in, gas leak investigated at Rogersville Road home

Fond du Lac County Sheriff's officers were called to an empty Fond du Lac home Tuesday in response to a report of a gas leak. Investigators believe someone may have tampered with a furnace in the house.

Officers were called to W7114 Rogersville Road around 3:30 p.m. April 16 after a contractor who was hired to clean up the foreclosed property smelled gas near the back door, Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office Detective Ryan Murphy said.
