Some Brown Co. residents heard no sirens during tornado drill

Some Brown County residents are voicing concerns that tornado sirens failed to work during a state-wide emergency drill Friday, prompting emergency management officials to investigate.

People in two Bellevue locations and one in Lawrence called the county to that sirens didn't go off during the afternoon drill. Press-Gazette Media readers told a reporter that sirens also were not audible in parts of Ashwaubenon. On the social media site Twitter, there were reports by some people that sirens were not audible in parts of Denmark, De Pere and Green Bay.
