County officials 'disappointed with results' in jail

Marathon County Jail Administrator Bob Dickman resigned Wednesday three weeks after two corrections officers were beaten at the jail Dickman supervises and officials questioned the safety of officers who manned the jail.

Dickman resigned after a meeting with Chief Deputy Scott Parks and County Administrator Brad Karger after the three officials agreed Wednesday that the administrator should vacate his post at the jail. Dickman's resignation is not a result of any misconduct during his time in office, Karger said Thursday.
