Weather forces league to adjust spring schedules

Given the extraordinary weather conditions this April, the Packerland Conference is taking an extraordinary measure of adjusting its spring high school sports schedule.

Because so few conference games have been played this cold, wet and snowy spring, Packerland members agreed Wednesday to use only second-half records to determine conference championships for softball, baseball and soccer.
