Forestville: Village reorganization under way

Donna Henderson has been appointed temporary village clerk/treasurer and is looking for applicants for a more long-term candidate for the position. Check out the village website at www.villageofforestville.com for specific duties (also posted at the library).

The village is also accepting resumes including letters of interest, wage/salary requirements and qualifications for the village maintenance position.

St. Peter's Brat Fry

The St Peter's Youth Group is having a brat fry to raise money for their upcoming trip to the Youth Gathering in Texas In July. Five St. Peter's youth will be going to Texas and you can help them get there by attending the Brat Fry from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 28. Everyone is welcome.

Addition complete

The Door County Humane Society is moving into its new space and could use your help. The move will begin at 9 a.m. today and continue through Monday. Anytime you have to help would be appreciated.

The shelter was closed on Thursday to start packing and will re-open with regular hours (noon to 4 p.m.) on Friday. Animals in need of care will still be accepted during the moving process.

Nasewaupee open book

The town of Nasewaupee open book meeting will take place 6-8 pm May 6 at the Fire Station/Town Hall at 3388 County P. The assessor and instructional material about assessment and board of review procedures will be available.

Story time

Go over the rainbow at the library this Friday when Barb reads stories makes crafts and teaches finger plays all with a rainbow theme. Story time is 9:30 a.m. every Friday.

Are you looking forward to summer? So is Barb. The summer reading program begins June 1 and Wednesday themed programs begin 3 p.m. June 26. The schedule will be out soon.
