Successful benefit

Sevastopol School fourth- and fifth-grade students, middle and high school bands and choirs held a concert March 19 to benefit the following community service, nonprofit organizations: Door County United Way, Door County Humane Society and Door County Feed/Clothe My People.

Sincere thanks everyone for their generous donations. Combined with other business donations and donations from the audience, Sevastopol School collected $516 to benefit Door County United Way.

In addition, several grocery carts of food and clothing were donated to Door County Feed/Clothe My People and Door County Humane Society. We are all neighbors helping neighbors.

Screening and registration

The Sevastopol School District will be conducting its annual 3- and 4-year-old developmental screening and 2013-14 4K school registration on Tuesday in the multipurpose room at the school.

All children who will be 4 before Sept. 1 are eligible to register for the 2013-14 4K Program.

The purpose of the screening is to provide parents information about your child's individual development. Registration packets will be available at the screening. Please bring your child's birth certificate when you register your child.

If you have not received a packet in the mail regarding screening, please call the Sevastopol Pupil Services office at (920) 743-6282, Ext. 132.
