Marian University will welcome country band "The Lost Trailers" to campus on Thursday, May 2, for the 2013 Big Band event. The concert will take place outside on the Marian University campus, near the Hornung Student Center, or in the Sadoff Gymnasium, in case of rain.

Doors open at 7 p.m.; and the show will begins at 8 p.m., with the opening act, country singer, Clayton Anderson, followed by The Lost Trailers performing songs from their 2012 album American Beauty.

The concert is sponsored by Marian's Student Senate, who chose the band based on student opinion. In past years, the Big Band Concert has hosted bands such as the Plain White T's, Augustana and the Gym Class Heroes.

Ticket sales to the public began April 13 and will be available at the Marian Office of Student Life (923-7666); or online at www.mariantickets.com
