The jaws of life were used to rescue a 20-year-old Leopolis woman after a crash in Shawano County early today.

The Shawano County Sheriff's Department says the woman was driving a car eastbound on Wisconsin 29 when she struck a parked motor coach tour bus. The bus broke down on the side of the road prior to the accident and was not occupied.

The accident was discovered by an on-duty deputy at 3:35 a.m. today.

The woman was brought by ambulance to Shawano Medical Center then flown by helicopter to Theda Clark Hospital in Neenah. Saturday evening, hospital officials said she is in fair condition.

The tour bus is owned by K and K Tour in Wausau.
