Outdoors: Friends celebrate another year celebrated with game feed

At the end of every outdoors season, my dad and his buddies, along with the wives and kids of course, get together for a year-end celebration we like to call our annual game feed.

We choose this time of year because it's the end of the fishing season, and because it is a low period for hunting and fishing activity before the seasons pick back up again in mid-April.

It's a day when the guys are in charge of cooking and fetching drinks for the wives. It's a day full of great food and even better company. But really, it's a day for everyone to get together each year and enjoy their favorite beverages and catch ...
