The people who are typically behind the scenes, volunteering their time and doing the hard work, had an event planned for them last week, when they were honored Tuesday at the 25th Annual WPS Volunteer Awards at the KI Convention Center.

It's the 40th anniversary for the Volunteer Center of Brown County as a local volunteer hub. With nearly 200 nominations submitted over seven award categories, each category was sponsored by a corporate partner.
