Local church community gathers donations for mission trip

A Weston Catholic church has partnered with a parish in Wausau to prepare for a mission trip to an orphanage in Peru.

A group of about 11 parishioners from Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Parish in Wausau will venture to Casa Hogar orphanage in Lurin, Peru, this summer for a mission trip, and religious education classes at St. Agnes Catholic Parish in Weston donated a variety of suitcases, clothes and shoes for the Holy Name group to take to the children.
