Elmer F. Blonien Post 485, the American Legion, Rudolph, held its regular meeting April 11 with 35 members present. A new member, Benjamin Snow of Rudolph, was welcomed. He is a U.S. Navy veteran. Brig. Gen. Mark E. Anderson, deputy adjutant general-Army, was a guest at the meeting.

The group will host the Wood County Legion meeting at 7 p.m. April 23. All members are welcome to attend. Memorial Day ceremonies will begin at 10:10 a.m. May 26 at St. Philip Church Cemetery in Rudolph. The annual gun raffle will be Aug. 25 at the Rudolph Community Park.

The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. May 9. Membership is at 122.
