Wisconsin home sales rise in March

Locally, sales are up from February, down from 2012

Wisconsin home sales increased again in March, but the results were more mixed in Northeastern Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin Realtors Association said Monday that March was the 21st consecutive month of sales growth in the state. Sales were 3 percent higher and the median sales price rose 9.3 percent to $134,900.

"This is the highest sales volume we've seen in March since 2007, before the Great Recession began," said Renny Diedrich, association chairman. ...
