President not looking out for middle class

The president made it easier to receive welfare, food stamps and unemployment pay. All good for those who need them. But what has he done for those of us who work, pay our bills and are not looking for a government handout? Taxes have gone up. Health insurance premiums have skyrocketed. Gas price has doubled. Everything costs more. Meanwhile, Obamacare reduces the amount we can save to a health savings account by 65 percent.

It will levy a tax on those with "Cadillac" health insurance plans (many union members).

The president's new budget puts a cap on how much we can save in an IRA or 401(k) and will tax the worker on the employer paid portion of our health insurance premiums. He also wants to eliminate the home mortgage interest deduction.

The president states that he is looking out for the middle class.

But those words ring hollow. It seems that the only thing he is looking out for are ways to increasingly tax our hard-earned income.
