Carol Eakin ordered to prison for sixth, seventh OWI convictions

A Forestville woman has been ordered to spend three years in prison and more than six additional years under state supervision after pleading no contest to her sixth and seventh drunken driving convictions.

Carol L. Eakin, 60, was arrested Aug. 22 for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. As that case was working its way through Door County Circuit Court, she was arrested for OWI again on Nov. 17.

In exchange for no contest pleas. Judge Peter Diltz sentenced Eakin to three years in prison followed by 2 years under extended supervision by the state ...
