People of all ages will benefit from the free programs offered at the Fond du Lac Public library during Money Smart Week April 22-27. Some of the topics included are When I'm 65 (an overview of Medicare), Home Buying Basics, Stretching Your Food Dollar, Identity Theft, Estate Planning - What Your Children Will Need to Know, What is Long Term Care and Do I Need It?, and Social Security and You.

Families are invited to attend Family Fun Day on Saturday April 27. Storytime will be held at 10 a.m., featuring the book "A Dollar for Penny." Each family will receive a copy of the book to take home.

Immediately after story time families will meet Penny the Pig. Penny is an extra-special, four-slotted piggy bank. Caregivers and children will learn about the four ways they can use their money -- saving, spending, investing, and donating. Each family will receive a free Penny the Pig piggy bank. For children ages 3-11 and their caregivers.

A complete listing of times and dates is available at the FDL Public Library, area financial institutions or www.fdlpl.org
