With her oxygen tank and feeding tube, Chelsey Vertz is used to being on a pretty short leash.

Still, there's no restriction like being on the waiting list for a new pair of lungs.

The 19-year-old Ashwaubenon woman, both her parents and even her boyfriend have all been living like minutemen for the last 19 months, when she was accepted onto the waiting list at University of Wisconsin Health's Organ and Tissue Donation Services. Suitcases are packed, car is gassed up and every time a phone rings, their heartbeats kick into overdrive. ...
