Whitrock takes Ripon superintendent job

Mary Whitrock, chief academic officer for the Green Bay School District, has been named superintendent of the Ripon School District.

She will replace Richard Zimman, who is retiring at the end of June.

Whitrock has nine years of school administration experience, in addition to nine years of elementary and middle school classroom teaching.

She will make an annual salary of $125,000 in 2013-14, plus $2,000 annual deferred compensation.
