Thursday is a very important date. And it is quickly approaching. Mark your calendars ... this is the day registration opens for fall semester classes at Mid-State Technical College.
You still have time to apply for a program for fall. If you are not ready to take that step, you can register for one or possibly two classes.
Maybe you are getting ready to graduate from high school this spring or maybe it's been five years since you've been in school or maybe it's been 35 years; the first step is always the hardest.
That's why we invite you to visit any of our campuses to see the comfortable atmosphere and hands-on learning we offer. Make an appointment to meet with a new student specialist to have all of your questions answered. It's never too late to explore new career possibilities.
You'll be able to find out about career programs and services MSTC offers the adult learner as well as how to begin the admissions process in an informal and relaxing environment.
The decision to return to college is a significant event in your life and that is why we invite you to explore the benefits of higher education and learn more about Mid-State Technical College. A visit to campus can help you decide whether MSTC is the right college for you.
If your skills aren't where they need to be, we can help you with that, too. You can brush up on your basic skills in the Academic Success Center or you can take a class to increase your skills. Courses that I might suggest include Microsoft Office-Introduction, Intro to Reading and Study Skills or Intro to College Writing.
Last month, I talked with you about summer course opportunities. If you are still considering taking a class this summer, it isn't too late. Please accept this invitation to enroll in a course for the summer or fall term.
If would like to learn more about a technical college education, stop by any of our campuses or go online at mstc.edu to learn more about our programs and offerings. We look forward to helping you learn about the terrific opportunities awaiting you here.
