Twenty-seven Wisconsin Lions met Feb. 23 at the Sandino Airport in Managua, Nicaragua.

You can imagine the climate shock going from the freezing temperatures and fresh snow of Wisconsin to a tropical climate in only a matter of a few hours by air.

From there, we were met by Lions Club members from Granada and then bussed to the city of Granada about an hour away. Granada, what a beautiful and clean city located in the heart of Central America on the shores of the largest body of fresh water in Central America - Lake Nicaragua.
