Water quality monitoring training coming to Ripon

The League of Women Voters of the Ripon Area and Lumen Charter High School are co-sponsoring a Water Action Volunteer water quality monitoring training at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, in room 179 of the Lumen Charter High School, 850 Tiger Drive, Ripon.

Potential volunteers interested in helping monitor local waterways are welcome to attend. The training will last three hours, and will involve both classroom time in Lumen and hands-on practice in Silver Creek behind the Ripon Public Library.
